Spring Trend: Lace

Lace is a huge trend at the moment. It used to be black lace for such a long time, on arms, necklines, dresses… but now lace is everywhere in a different color, especially white.  This top from ICHI is really cute. ICHI states itself as a need-to-have brand with a versa- tile and vibrant collection of must haves that can be used all day long. And at night, too.

I got it from Wina via public images PR and wearing it for this shooting was ice cold, but it looks nice in front of the blue of the Elbe. I combined it with a black satin pencil skirt  and a withe crystal necklace from Smitten. The purse and shoes were also in blush, so it was a very feminine outfit.

I think that is also something that is coming back this year: Dressing girly and feminine in blush tones or berry tones and wearing soft and silky textures like satin, lace, silk and metallic tones. ICHI’s collection is exactly that. Patterns in pastel tones, metallic and sexiness.

Anika did my hair and make up and she chose for a bronze tone, which matches the necklace and background. Because of the sun and water in the back, the outfit stands out even more. Our shooting was cold, but it was so easy going. Just find the spot and take the pictures, no problems, no stress, just going with the flow on a sunny day. As it should be! Thanks guys!

You can find your own lace top via my shop on theeuropeanlook.com. I would wear a lace crop top with a pencil skirt for going out. Very sexy and feminine, yet not showing too much skin.
